Gregory (Greg) Fletcher


Gregory (Greg) Fletcher serves as Community Adviser on Sciences and Technology for the Bayo Arowolaju Foundation (BAF). At the core of BAF is to engage and inspire youths through technology and innovative thinking. Greg brings 20+ years of experience in Information Technology and Sciences.  Through various positions ranging from Help Desk to Government Information Technology Coordinator, he is seen as a subject matter expert in his field.  He has presented and published research findings for the International Conference on Wireless Networks (ICWN), and the Society for Applied Learning Technologies (SALT).  Professionally, Greg has a variety of experiences including but not limited to software engineering, simulation development, instructional design, training, Information Technology procurement, cyber security policy, and network engineering and administration.

Prior joining BAF, Greg has held senior engineering and technology positions as a defense contractor to the US federal government, and has instructed decision makers that has stood before congress.  In his success, he has been able to collaborate with many different nonprofit and for profit organizations to meet and exceed mutual goals.  In search for a way to bring about a positive change in his community, he has discussed several issues involving obstacles of African-Americans and other overlooked communities in the media.

Greg holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Tennessee State and Master’s degree in Software Engineering from University of Maryland, he is a vital source of experience in all things IT.
